Jacobs also draws correlations to how this isn’t the first time this has happened to Dems in non-presidential election cycles.
Perhaps better access to data and a non-monopoly mentality on strategy could have saved many Democratic seats from switching to GOP control. Only time will tell as those in the know begin to turn their attentions to 2016.
