On April 20, the Maryland Reporter published an article titled “Anne Arundel Democratic primary votes up for grabs in congressional race.”
The article goes on to say that “five Democratic candidates have so far surfaced to replace U.S. Rep. Donna Edwards (CD 4), who is vacating her seat to run for retiring U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski’s seat.”
With many of the possible candidates living in Prince George’s County, pundits are predicting that the small percentage of Democrat voters in Anne Arundel County could be the determining factor in the election.
What else does the data tell us about Maryland’s upcoming elections?
- Approximately 15% of District 4 Democrats live in Anne Arundel County
- Targeting high propensity Democrat voters will be a priority
