Dean Aristotle Phillips is the President and co-founder of Aristotle, Inc., a leading provider of technology, compliance, and data solutions for political organizations and campaigns. For over two decades, Dean has played a central role in shaping the organization’s direction and infrastructure, overseeing compliance, finance, research and development, and day-to-day operations.
Dean is also the founder and President of PredictIt.org, a subsidiary of Aristotle and the nation’s first real-money political prediction market. PredictIt has gained national recognition as a pioneering event market for political forecasting and academic research.
With more than thirty years of experience in software innovation, Dean is widely recognized as a leader in the development of international identity verification systems, political technology platforms, and predictive markets. His contributions span the evolution of PAC and grassroots campaign technology, as well as the integration of databases and exchanges that support civic engagement and political transparency.
A frequent presenter at industry-leading conferences and graduate-level programs, Dean has contributed to the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management, the Politics Online Conference, and Campaigns & Elections seminars. His insights continue to influence the future of digital politics and electoral technology.
Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with a minor in Political Science. He is an MIT Educational Counselor, a Life Member of IEEE, and an active participant in the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).
Dean is the brother of John Phillips, CEO of Aristotle, Inc.
