Data Matching
Your Organization’s List and Our Voter File – A Perfect Match
Arsitotle offers high-quality voter matching services for political organizations, non-profits, campaigns, consultants and governmental agencies. We can take your data file and append extensive information from our Nationwide Voter File, such as which individuals are registered to vote, age, party affiliation, voter history – including absentee voters – and individuals who are considered to be Supervoters™.
With Aristotle’s suppression matching service, you can match your list to our voter file and pull out records that you may want to exclude from your database. This is beneficial for mailings or phone banks when you want to exclude known Democrats or Republicans from your list.
Take Advantage of Zip to District Matching
Aristotle can append your existing database with updated political districts (congressional, state senate, state assembly) and local districts where available. This will help your organization with its grassroots and issue advocacy work. The appendix can include all of the contact information for all legislators, as well.
District Matching Services
District Matching Services allows you to apply Aristotle’s renowned legislative district matching technology to your own constituent (e.g., employees) records without having to perform any in-house data processing or purchase any software. Simply provides your data file to our data team, and we’ll match each record to its legislator and legislative district. You can typically receive your results in a few days. This service can be utilized once or several times over the course of a calendar term.
Latest Data, Expansive Coverage
Our District Matching Service appends client data files with a current four-digit ZIP code extension using the most current, certified U.S. Postal Service software. Records are then matched to their corresponding federal and/or state legislative districts.
All related legislator information is included with the match, such as:
- Names, titles, political party and gender
- District and capitol building addresses
- Phone and fax numbers
- Email addresses (where available)
- Websites (where available)
We also provide a hard copy summary report of the match denoting the total number of records in each district, by state.
District Match Data Set
Our District Match Data Set (DMDS) is an integrated set of data files that allows clients to integrate our data into their own applications. The coverage options (nationwide, states only, federal only) of these data files can be configured to meet your specific data requirements.
In other words, you won’t pay for data you don’t need!
Nationwide Coverage
Our DMDS is available for the entire nation or a single state. Our Nationwide Data Set contains every nine-digit ZIP code in the country along with tables listing their corresponding congressional, state senate and state house district codes, legislator ID codes and related legislator information for every U.S. senator, U.S. representative, state senator and state representative.
The provided legislator information includes:
- District name
- District and Capitol addresses
- Phone and fax numbers
- Email addresses
- Websites (where available)
- Committee and sub-committee assignments
Our nationwide federal-only dataset contains only the district assignments and legislator information for U.S. senators and U.S. representatives.
In addition to our nationwide federal-only datasets, we can provide a data set for a particular state or group of states. Each state data set consists of the nine-digit ZIP codes located within the licensed state, its corresponding congressional, state senate and state house district codes and related legislator information.
All of the data sets are frequently updated and fully covered by our support agreements.
Our annual agreements keep you absolutely up-to-date on all nine-digit ZIP code additions or modifications (up to two million monthly, nationwide), legislative district boundary changes (due to legislation or litigation), and legislator information changes (e.g., special elections).
Our data files are designed to work in multiple environments, including mainframe, mini computers and PCs. They’re also available in a variety of formats (ASCII, dBase, EBCDIC) and on multiple media types (CD-ROM, diskette, nine-track tape). Additionally, the programs created to access the files can be written in almost any language.
